Born and raised in Rochester, New York, David is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Piano Performance and Contemporary Media. At the age of 5 he began playing by ear on his grandfather\u2019s old beaten upright player piano.\nA two-time consecutive winner of DownBeat Magazine\u2019s Student Music Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Jazz Vocalist.<\/p>\n\n
